Soorarai Pottru Movie Review

 

Soorarai Potru - Glad we got at least one good Tamil movie in 2020. 

Every character was amazing. Especially I liked Sundari's character. Women with their dreams - it always impresses me. She breaks all the stereotypes - helping the husband financially, motivating when he is low and striking the business deal with him and growing together. That was amazing. 

The purpose of low cost aviation can't be explained better than this but I felt they could have elaborated more on the technical part and Maara's influence in the village could have been told better. I mean he is the son of the teacher who once fought to halt the express trains is different thing but entire village people coming together giving away millions of money while they are still figuring out to earn a bread and butter didn't feel right. But the twist at the last and Maara's perseverance makes those flaws forgiveable. 

GV Prakash once again proved he can give great background score which is a major plus for Soorarai Potru. All said, Soorarai Pottru is pretty decent and puts an end to misery of watching mediocre movies in prime.
