Mirzapur Season 1 Review

Mirazapur - At first it didn't impress me much, I mean, the interest to watch the Indian series was not building up and also busy watching other top TV series. But after binge watching all the top shows, there was a vacuum created and I was not getting interest to watch any other series, because whatever that I watched before was great. ( Breaking Bad, House Of cards, GOT till Season 6) So, then one of my friend recommended me to watch Mirzapur. He seemed so proud that he was telling me that I would be telling him that this series was awesome once I completed watching this season 1.

Mirzapur is something related to gangster story but the plot is very well built up. I felt like watching Breaking Bad, because all the characters in Mirzapur were well connected and had a proper writing. It was immaculate. Be it screenplay, dialogues or characterization, everything was great.

As like all series, first few episodes were slow as they were making the groundwork. After you hit fifth episode you will definitely like the way the story goes. The climax for this season is fantastic that I would say this is the best ever indian series that I ever watched. I can even tell that Mirzapur is way better than Sacred Games. Not to mention here that Sacred Games also good but its not upto Mirzapur in the terms of plot and screenplay.

Coming to the cast, entire crew played very well except that Sweety character. I was kind of annoyed seeing her acting, otherwise everyone were great, delivering their performance. I especially liked Munna, Bablu, Khaleen Bhaiya and the chacha who dances at the end. That scene was apt.

Mirzapur - A must watch.

Deserves 9 out 10.
