Band of Brothers HBO TV Mini Series Review

While at the episode 1, the screenplay was slow. It was showing the usual training and tortures faced by the soldiers. Episode 2 slightly became interesting when they introduced the Parachute regiment which is completely new, I haven't seen this kind of regiment in any movies. Episode 3 was okay and then Episode 4 was kind of good. But after episode 5, I started feeling attached, not because its interesting but because I realized its based on the true incidents and then till the end, band of brothers held me tight.

Band of brothers is a TV Mini Series based on the second world war which is focused on the easy company. Every episode runs around 1 hour to 1 hour 15 mins. It gets very interesting after episode 5. Especially I liked The Breaking Point, Why we fight, The Last Patrol and Points.  Why we fight was gut-wrenching and even make you cry as the episode is all about jew prisoners. The Last patrol showed how a true captain should be. I could say this episode is my favorite or that episode is perfect but when you reach the 8, 9 and 10 you feel like you should see it as a complete season and shouldn't judge by each episode and I can easily say Band of Brothers is the best war series that's ever made. All the scenes were so real and raw. It kind of pushed me inside the war atmosphere. I also liked how each characters evolve in different episodes. Action scenes were top-notch. Band of brothers is truly amazing and never to be missed.

Finally I watched End game in IMAX today. Before witnessing the experience of IMAX, I already seen it in PVR PXL screen ( Anna Nagar). To begin with the experience, I honestly say that I didn't notice much of the difference. Be it sound or video there was almost zero differences. Only thing was that the intro numbering video was great. Except that there wasn't any highlights. I am strongly able to say this since I watched the movie already and I only went for IMAX experience. The worst part of luxe IMAX is screen size is also Normal or I could say it's even lesser in size when compared to PVR PXL screen. I have included the photos that I had taken in both the cinima theatres. You can very well see that PXL screen is much bigger. With 380 bucks at approximate I kind of expected something, at least I thought I feel better than watching it in PXL screen. It was disappointing.
