Game of thrones season 8 Episode 5 review without spoilers
Well I would say Episode 5 is far better than the rest of the episodes in season 8 of game of thrones despite having some logic flaw that is connecting with Episode 4 to Episode 5. For a TV show, this kind of visual is beyond the expectations. In Episode 3, some scenes weren't clearly visible or not focused on everything and everyone. Here in this episode, we could see they have really put up an effort to show each and every nook and corners from the entrance to Red Keep. One should praise the cinematography and the team behind this episode because it felt like a ace director's big budget movie.
I liked the touch of Light of the Seven piece was playing at the end, it reminds how it was in episode 10 of season 6 and how it is now. Even in the scenes where terror grows with everyone, Ramin nailed the background score. And yes it is obvious that If there is one thing I couldn't resist writing is about Ramin Djawadi. He is brilliant.
I could see a better way of showing characters and their emotions in the Episode. As the last episode was disappointing, I wasn't having any expectations, so for me this is better and could be the best of all the episodes of this season that were released till date putting aside the logics.

They messed all the prophecies and all the character arc development especially Jamie's redemption arc. There is no strong reason for Dany killing the innocent people, for the 7 seasons she is portrayed as a breaker of chain and a person who is trying to make world a better place to live, the transformation of Dany character from breaker of chains to mad queen is not really well written.Book readers have invested so much time in this they deserved better ending.
ReplyDeleteIf your looking for Justice to the story you come to the wrong place-GOT.Really disappointed to see such bad writing from the show runners, lets hope GRRM will give good end in his book.
