Vikram Vedha Movie Review

Vikram vedha - I was waiting for this movie like how eagerly I waited to watch baahubali. To be honest,the trailer didn't much impress me in the first place. But when I listened to the album, it completely blow my mind and I think I might have watched the approx. three minutes trailer more than thirty times. The trailer itself has so much brilliance, say, the projection of three cups when both the leads talk about themselves and at the end of the trailer when vedha climbs Vikram from the back. And then yes, after watching interviews came to conclusion that this movie is based on Vikramadhityan Vedalam tales.

One of the major plus point in the movie is screen play, such a brilliant writing and different way of narration. Initially I thought they might have given more importance to Vijay Sethupathy and less cared for madhavan. Because this is what they to whenever they make film about criminal and police if criminal casting is done by top most hero. But the director duo puskar and gayathri broke that in Vikram Vedha. If Vijay Sethupathy is mass then Madhavan is handsome, smart and stylish police. But Oh boy, the introduction of Vijay Sethupathy made the whole theatre go crazy, not only in indroduction and whenever he punches us with the dialogues say, Gandhiyoda bayan Gandhi ya sir. Godsey voda bayan godsey va sir.  It clearly shows that how Vijay Sethupathy stands as a most prominent actor. There are no words to explain his performance.

Apart from the lead casting, supporting characters are makes more up to the point. Be it Pulli or the nervous new police officer. Everyone scores well how Sam C.S. scored through the songs and bgm.

Vikram Vedha, a well written brilliant movie.
