Once upon a time in Hollywood (2019) Movie review

There are always too much expectations for the Quentin Tarantino movie. When the announcements came that Brad Pitt and DiCaprio going to play lead together, then the expectations gone into different level. But what we get in Once upon a time is utter disappointment. Comedy worked at some level but the screenplay is very slow. Even with the slow moving pace, the movie could have come better if it had some good ending. Well, they had a mediocre violence at the climax but it didn't do justice to the whole film. Just because it's Tarantino movie, one need not have to tell the movie is good even if it's bad. Almost most of the scenes weren't even engaging. Only Tarantino knows why he chose this script. Coming to the cast, Al Pacino and Margot Robbie are wasted. Background score also didn't work out. One may argue it's different but you know what is the meaning of the word "different" used during these circumstances. Its boring and only out of respect...

Remake of Nerkonda Parvai is really necessary? Nerkonda Parvai Movie review

Watching a remake movie is always challenging because of the two things. One is, you already know the plot and the second thing is that we might not feel the originality, both gives the boredom. Nerkonda Parvai too falls into this but it recovers completely because of the fresh recreation of the same drama. It was hard to not compare with Pink. The first few scenes might be dragging a little bit for those who watched Pink already. But then the unnecessary fight scene comes, whole theatre erupts with the holler which then justifies why this was necessary because H. Vinoth might have seen that the fans mostly will not get satisfied with the intro scene even though Ajith's sharp look suggests that he is a danger.  The concept and idea of the story is already immaculate, so the hard thing for Vinoth and Ajith and other crew is to give an undistorted image which came out very clear.
